Color Consultation

When you are about to consult a color client for the first time take into consideration the following information:

Conduct a color service in accordance with a client's needs and expectations.
Conduct services in a safe environment and take measures to prevent the spread of infectious and contagious disease.
Take necessary steps to develop and retain clients.
Interact effectively with co-workers as part of a team.
Manage time to provide efficient client service.

Keep these things in mind to provide an effective and efficient color service.

Hair color

Currently in the Junior Cosmetology lab we are beginning a study of Hair color. We have already talked pretty intensely in the lab about the types of professional hair color we use and how to mix, apply and formulate. During the session in the related class we will continue to talk about the theory, law of color and review application procedures and formulation. Much of this information should be review and reinforcement. In the lab we are performing pedicures and preparing for an upcoming Cosmetology Showcase.

I am the Junior Cosmetology Instructor at Tri Rivers Career Center in Marion, Ohio. When I am not in the classroom I enjoy spending time with family and friends. My husband and I have been married for 30 years and have two children. Between the two of them we have three grandchildren. Tyler is the oldest at 5 yrs., Ayden is almost 2 and Carson is 6 months. We love spending time with them one on one. I also enjoy bowling, fishing, boating and swimming. I enjoy going to the YMCA in the morning for an invigorating workout and relaxing swim. My dream is to someday learn to Fly fish and try my luck in the beautiful waters of Alaska.
